Asset Classified Information Follows
S.H.I.E.L.D Asset Number: NMCC81977Beta
Field Codename: Fang
Source of Asset: Terrestrial
Class Identification: Homo Sapien Superior/Mutate
Gender: Female
Biological Age: Young Adult (Approximately)
Region of Origin: Unknown. Genetic testing suggests North American, Possibly Greenland
Citizenship Status: None Known
Relatives: None Known
Government Identification: Unknown
Criminal Record: None; Suspected in 51 murders in differing regions of Earth
Asset Liberation: Belarus, -6 months; Joint operation Avengers, S.H.I.E.L.D.
Asset Status: Probationary Agent; Possible inclusion in Project AVNG
Threat Level: 8
Biological Research Division Opinion: The Asset was born to the Homo Sapien Subspecies: Homo Sapien Superior, commonly known as Mutants. However, flaws in some DNA strands suggests genetic manipulation after birth. Flaws are not natural in origin, showing signs of genetic manipulation possibly using a RNA sequencer or similar. The discrepancy at nucleotide G suggests an accelerated attempt to activate the X gene. Markers at exons in the genes are basis for the theory that the manipulation of her genetic was also performed before birth.
Her body is capable of heretofore unseen rates of cellular regeneration. This explains how she was able to survive the internal augmentations to her body, and why her body does not reject the implants. This is a direct correlation to the X gene. The cellular decay related to stamina and aging are greatly inhibited, to the point it would be impossible to find out how old she is exactly, or how long her natural life will be.
The Asset’s parietal lobes are much more advanced than we have ever observed in other animals. Her senses are advanced in regards to the initial effects, but are then interpreted in such a high degree that she probably has extraordinary sensory recognition. If there is a triggering mechanism for the Asset’s subconscious command controls, it would most likely take effect through her sense of smell. She is able to detect particles in the air that not even a bear would be able to detect, therefore the trigger mechanism would be undetectable to anything else. See Mr. Uematsu’s report for details.
Physically the Asset is in superb condition, easily more advanced physically than someone should be with her approximate age. ~Agent Claremont
Psychological Division Opinion: When first approaching the Asset, she seems to be very open and attentive. As if wanting to interact. But further study shows that most of the time it is merely a ruse, saying what she thinks we want to hear.
Using the Arbiter method, it is painfully clear she has been abused (to the point of torture) for most if not all of her life. She reacts negatively to stimulus relating to parentage, caring, compassion or faith. It is evident she has been trained to be used as an infiltration unit. She is able to adjust her personality to fit in with whatever surroundings she finds herself. This is no doubt to ensure she goes unnoticed. But again that is just a ruse. Her actual emotions and emotional reactions are stunted. Emotionally she is very underdeveloped. She doesn’t know how to react when she is shown kindness. She pulls away when someone reaches out to her. She has symptoms of depression, anxiety and withdrawal. She is very compliant, too well mannered. For a girl of her apparent age, she is too neat and clean at all times. Even when left alone she goes out of her way to ensure her personal space is completely in order. She has been observed attempting self harm, but there are never any permanent marks. She has poor social skills when she is left on her own. Again, the evidence of emotional abuse are staggering from a short period of observation.
Despite all of that, she is extremely intelligent! She was able to solve nearly all of the test puzzles used in standard testing, as well as some we had to make up on the spot. She was able to discern the trajectory of 20 marbles that were dropped on the floor in front of her with 96% accuracy. But her exposure to the world and the most common things within it has been limited, clearly she has lived sheltered. She is filled with operational knowledge, and little more. I suspect when she was sent on missions, her briefing would include anything pertaining to the region she would be operating in. This shows she is incredibly adaptable to whatever situation she finds herself in.
We were also able to discover a psychological block using the Arbiter. The Arbiter first revealed evidence of it, and it then deferred this area to Ms. Jennings. Ms. Jennings was able to ascertain a mental block that could be activated by an outside stimulus. Much the same way certain words in a certain order was able to ‘activate’ hydra agents. I prefer the analogy of Pavlov’s dog, I think that is more accurate. We still do not know what could act as a trigger, but we believe it would be something more advanced than anything auditory. The area of the Asset’s psyche effected by this block is neatly tucked away and locked, Ms. Jennings says she has no idea what it could entail. But if the Asset is a sleeper agent, as suggest by some, then I feel it is our obligation to aid her. ~Agent Uematsu
Once we landed the girl was transferred to special Agent Haines and her team.
End of debrief. And on a personal note, I hope that little girl is in a lot of pain and misery right now. ~Agent Marron
Assessment: X-37 was literally created to be a HYDRA weapon, of that there is no doubt. It’s not known yet whether or not she is capable of ever being broken of her brainwashing and training. It’s my opinion she will never be able to be released into society without a handler. A handler at least. She obeys commands without hesitation or question, she is skilled in multiple forms of hand to hand combat and the used of firearms. She was able to wield all standard issue S.H.I.E.L.D. weapons, as well as some more exotic weapons. And she did so without much thought into it. Making me think most of this is natural reflex for her.
I’m going to agree with the recommendation of using her for field work, under the jurisdiction of Agent Pursell and Agent Haines. She will have to have a tracker implant, as well as the Failsafe device. Pursell will be the only one with the activation for the Failsafe.
As for the recommendation of Project AVNG, I will deliberate that at a later time with Agent Pursell and Agent Haines. As well as get a complete workup of her physically, mentally and emotionally. I will ask for opinions of multiple departments. ~Special Agent Smith

Asset attainment debriefing: On this day the squad was dropped in Belarus approximately 10 miles from the designated target area. Intelligence suggests it is a HYDRA black base, but no information was available after that. It was presumed to be a laboratory of some kind, judging by the traffic coming and going.
At dawn the assault was green lit and commenced. The base had the standard armaments leading to the facility. As we got into range, our scouts observed smoke from the opposite side of the base from where we were. It was believed they were destroying equipment and/or evidence. We infiltrated the base to find HYDRA agents destroying all of the evidence they could, and calling out for the project to be released. But it seems it never did to our knowledge. The base had nothing in it but HYDRA agents, scientists, a few mechs and a single subject. We found a lab with the markings ‘X 37’, and under the plate with this one it was ‘Не работайте без погрузчиков 4-го уровня и полного оборудования. Не открывать. Не допускать выхода. По словам командира Курца.’ Translated: ‘Do not operate without level 4 handlers and full equipment. Do not open. Do not allow exit. Per Commander Kurtz.’ Agent Cruz ordered the door open, and we began to open and sweep forward. The room was bare, white walls and a bench. And a little girl. She seemed to be cowering in a corner. We were all stunned, and then she leaped at us. Cruz ordered us to defend ourselves, but the girl had already killed Agent Koshiro. Her blades came out of nowhere. We were barely able to subdue her, and all of us sustained injury. She was shot at least 6 times by my count, once with a heavy assault weapon. We tried to resuscitate Agent Koshiro but there was nothing to be done. We locked the girl in full restraints immediately and Agent Jos gave her a sedative. As soon as she was locked in, she seemed to come back to life again and almost broke her restraints. Agent Jos gave her another sedative, but it didn’t seem to have much effect at all. We were ordered to move out to the secured LZ with the prisoner. We used anti-pill measures to ensure she didn’t try to take her own life. Once back on the jump-jet we secured the prisoner in an immobilization harness. Again, only barely. At one point she even broke her own arm trying to get free. But when our medic moved to examine her, the injury was gone. Once we landed the girl was transferred to special Agent Haines and her team.
